Look it's not hard, sure it might cost somthing depending on were you live  but for everything you recycle it has a positive impact on the earth. Here is a article from National Geoghraphic to explain:

The problem is that most of us use and then toss way more plastic than we need: things like grocery bags, drink bottles, straws, food wrappers, and plastic packaging around toys.
